Expedition Liability Release Waiver

In consideration of my participation in the foregoing, the undersigned acknowledge and agree to the following:

Most Foreign Ministries consider the destinations in this Expedition as a conflict zone when submitting their travel advisories and many common medical or travel insurance have exemptions in place which don't cover or assist you once you are on the ground.
I accept that Wander Expeditions are not responsible for, nor will I attempt to hold either of them liable for any death, injury, damage or loss I may suffer during my trip to the expedition destination. I agree that this disclaimer includes the entire traveling party and that in the event of any disputes; they may only be litigated in the Spanish Courts, with a maximum penalty not to exceed the total earned by Wander Expeditions in the original transaction.
I will review my travel documents and understand that I may contact Wander Expeditions if I have any questions.

Following the pronouncements above I hereby declare the following:

I am fully and personally responsible for my own safety and actions while and during my participation and I recognize that I may be at risk by visiting this destination.
With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release, waive, discharge the Organization, independent contractors, affiliates, employees, representatives, and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me while visiting this destination.
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organization from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, lawsuits, and/or liabilities or claims arising whether directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the released party due to injury, loss, or death from or related to my visit to this destination.
I am aware that the services provided start and end at the designated meeting point for the expedition and do not include international flights or transportation to reach the destination. Hence, the Organization won't be liable for flight cancellations, modifications or other risks that may cause my inability to be in the destination on time.
I am aware that all payments are non-refundable if I decide to cancel or can't attend for personal reasons and as long as the Expedition is able to take place.
Should I contract COVID-19 or any of its symptoms prior to the expedition and, therefore, become unable to take part in the activity, I hereby release, waive and discharge the Organization from any claim to refund my deposit and/or payments for said expedition.
With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release, waive, discharge the Organization, its founder (Alvaro Rojas), independent contractors, affiliates, employees, representatives, and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the premises or while using the facilities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm.

Travel Insurance

Accidents can happen anywhere and the risks of visiting the destinations on this Expedition are higher than almost any other destination. Hence, it's highly recommendable you protect yourself with a travel insurance policy.

If you already have medical or travel insurance, make sure to contact them and assure their coverage includes the destinations on this Expedition.

Regarding Travel Insurance I acknowledge:

I will have a travel insurance policy that covers my visit to the destinations on this Expedition, or assume all responsibility from not purchasing Travel Insurance.

By signing below I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing Liability Release Waiver and understand its contents; that I am at least eighteen (18) years old and fully competent to give my consent; I acknowledge that I have been sufficiently informed of the risks involved and give my voluntary consent in signing it as my own free act and deed; that I give my voluntary consent in signing this Liability Release Waiver as my own free act and deed with full intention to be bound by the same, and free from any inducement or representation.
